RESOURCES
Families and Students
Please keep the health aide technician informed of any special health matters. Maintaining up-to-date information will assist in case of an emergency.
The Upland Elementary health office is open during all school hours to provide basic first aid. If a student becomes ill during the day, the health office will contact families to pick up the student as needed.
Special Medical Needs
If a student has allergies, illnesses, or other issues (including medications they are taking at home) that either an Upland Elementary staff, teacher, or emergency medical professional would need to know on a daily basis or in the event of an emergency. It is the family's responsibility to inform the school prior to the student's attendance.
Non-Routine Medica Care at School
If a student requires medical care at school, families will need to provide the school with a written health care plan from the student's physician. The school cannot administer prescription medication of any kind, or provide non-routine medical care or procedures at school, please contact the district nurse.
